Vestry Report
As the Vestry (Trinity’s “board of directors”) meets well after the monthly newsletter deadline, our report of the March 24th meeting finally reaches you now.
Items as of March included:
• Stewardship/Treasurer: While we remain in a cautious stance, with the help of additional donations from the second appeal (thanks to all who responded, whether or not you could give more at this time), supplemented by prior year surpluses, we are beginning to close the 2009 budget gap. Structural problems remain for 2010.
• Rector Search: On schedule with Vestry interviews anticipated for late May and a call sometime in June, God willing. • Rummage Sale: The next rummage sale needs to be sponsored by all the People of Trinity (not just Outreach) and planning to include all interested and affected groups.
• WiFi on campus: More coverage coming soon—thanks to the Vestry tech squad!
• Radical Welcome: The former Membership Commission was disbanded and the Welcoming & Connecting Commission established in its place. Authorized formation of an Area Ministry Advisory Group to get up to speed on our bishop’s vision and its implications for Trinity.
• Vestry/Parish Goals: We discussed the need to add an outward, mission-focused goal and planned further discussion in April.
Vestry meetings are public, so join us if you will at 7 pm every 4th Tuesday. Lynn Pieron

FAITH FULL FAMILIES AT TRINITY PARISH
FAITH FULL FAMILIES AT TRINITY PARISH... a way to grow your family's faith through fellowship and fun
Faith Full Families is a group of 9 families that meets about once a month on a Sunday evening during the school year for a potluck meal, fellowship, craft and faith ritual. There is no cost to joining the group, but you must commit to bringing a potluck item each time, and to coming on a regular basis.
On May 17, all families whose oldest child is 3, are invited to join with our current Faith Full Families group to sample a typical evening and join the fun. We will either expand the group next fall or begin a second group. Faith Full Families is a great way to get to know other families at Trinity. Parents get to know parents, and children get to know children, and your own family identity becomes strengthened through the activities you can take home and build into your faith practices at home.
Please e-mail the Rev. Beth Foote to register for the evening, May 17, 5-7 pm in Trinity Hall.
